I did this first before jetted out with the norms.

I am a natural nutcase.

My love for the arts override the joys of the supposedly what-every-human-should-do-right-after-their-O's.

It's either i go straight to college or do the exact opposite norm.

I chose the latter. As i've always thought that i'd spend my entire lifetime in front of a weasel sans beret and get all Picasso.

Therafter, i had to transport myself from one entrance test door to another. After a successful run on the drawing test ( apparently i chose the first question ), i had to sit for my oral test. The latter was a killer.

Just imagine this.

I was given two papers side by side. One was filled with ice lemon tea drawings and another was a penguin's. And i had to oratorically translate my findings and interpretations of its contrasts and everything. And i had to do that for like 10 exact blardy minutes. Thus, i banged on it as if i've hit on the Antarctica.

Just imagine this. I sailed through. Not Antarctica, both tests that is.

How on Earth can a tropical girl like me survived? And again, not Antarctica, both tests that is.

For a moment, i felt so liberated.

After all the goos and gaas of my 3 years stint in in NAFA, i was struck with the norm question. What should i do after the graduation?

As a matter of factly, i had to join the norm to please my parents although i've always been a hard-headed and free-spirited person.

Thus, i took up my A's and joined the norms.

However, my love for the arts will never fade.

This paper has its sentimental value and unstrip my rollicking persona for all things Van Gogh.

p/s: I'd rather watch Rockstar on Starworld channel than Singapore Idol. Duh!
